Our story

"Why is accounting so complicated?" This question can be heard on the lips of almost every entrepreneur — from someone who has just registered their first limited company to someone who has been running a business for several years.

The truth is simple: accounting itself is not complicated. It is made complicated by an industry that has taught, for centuries, that the client doesn’t need to understand what they are paying for and why. That an invoice can appear out of the blue. That questions are unnecessary.

Balansis was born as a response to that reality. We started with a simple principle — each client receives a single specialist, a clear price and understandable answers. No more, no less.

Today we help entrepreneurs from all over Latvia and beyond — completely remotely, to the same standards you would expect from any modern service provider. We are a small, focused team, and that is precisely our greatest strength.

A fixed price before we start — not “we bill by the hour”. We believe no one should open an invoice with fear. That’s why the price is fixed in the agreement — and it’s never changed without your consent.

You have a person who knows your situation — not an anonymous “support centre”. Every time you write, the same person answers. That’s not a luxury — it’s the standard.
Taxes are complicated. Communication doesn’t have to be.

Everything is shared through a secure cloud platform. Signed with eParaksts. Stored in EU data centres in compliance with GDPR. You never need to come in person.

Balansis is a brand of SIA Wonderstore (Reg. No. 40203623395). Balansis provides accounting services under an official Latvian State Revenue Service (VID) outsourced accountant license, No. AGL0003801 (valid 2026-09-07 to 2031-09-06). The company's professional liability is insured for €5,000 (insurer: Compensa Vienna Insurance Group) — above the statutory minimum (€3,000), at the level required to serve clients with annual turnover above €300,000. Balansis is a member of the Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LTRK) (member No. 8732). Founder Helvijs Brigmanis holds 9 VID-issued certificates in anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism/proliferation financing (AML/CTF) and international and national sanctions compliance:

Balansis is officially founded (5 Feb 2025). Initially offering business and tax consulting.

Since September, we also offer a full range of accounting services — the complete service in one place.
